The following is a partial list of kiosks where The American is distributed.
This list does not mean that we are visibly displayed in the kiosks that are listed below. Some news agents keep the magazine under the counter. YOU MUST ASK FOR IT BY NAME. Distribution in Italy is an inexact science. Most newsstands do not have specific street addresses and are referred to instead by the family names of the owners and their street or piazza location. These family names are not evident on the kiosk itself.
If there are several news agents in your area, ask your local kiosk for the location of one of the nearest vendor by referring to the agent’s family name. We are usually available in at least one kiosk in every major city piazza — but not in all.
If you fail to find The American ask your kiosk owner to please stock it for you, or to put one aside when it arrives. For more information, write to maginfo@theamericanmag.com.
Common sense and perseverance are the watchwords. Don't take "no" for an answer. We do not yet offer subscriptions, so purchase from kiosks remains the most direct way to obtain a copy of the magazine. Web content is posted approximately 20 days after the magazine is distributed. Not all print content is posted on the web.
