Hand-to-Mouth
In the 1990s, therapist Diane Epstein quit her private practice in San Francisco and moved to Rome with her husband Alan and their two small sons. She continued working as a therapist, but broadened her pursuits to include cooking courses and photography. The New York City-born Epstein has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show with her husband, author of "As the Romans Do: An American Family’s Italian Odyssey." Here are six of her photographs, opening with a shot of a Piazza Navona performance artist.
